Addressing Journalist, senator Ogba noted that it is out of his willingness to celebrate couple who he sponsored to gain thier marrital vow over the years, adding that his adimistration will not fail to support them for their complementary roles towards rebuilding peace His words: I am happy to see you today, I will create a platform where I can attend to your individual needs and will empower those of you that needs empowerment, this an inaugural meeting and I will make it an annual event. By the vertue of the fact that I sponsonred your marrriages you are now my adopted sons and dauthers and your children are my grand children, we are now one family, I can assure you, with this meeting we will be acquainted with one another". He sympatized with one of them that lost her husband to death. Unlike political promises that characterise such event, the law maker admitted that it was not politically motivated as he does not even know some of them out of over 80 couples he sponsored, he said he started the programme back then when he was the PDP state party chairman over 18 years ago.
