Sir Dr Emeka Offor, the Chrome Group of Companies and Sir Emeka Offor Foundation have
become aware of web-based allegations, purportedly linking Sir Dr Emeka Offor with the
recent repatriation of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu to Nigeria.

It is common knowledge that Sir Dr Emeka Offor seldom grants interviews or engage in
media/press statements except when issues dealing with the activities of his charitable
and non-governmental Foundation – Sir Emeka Offor Foundation (SEOF) are involved.
However, it has become necessary in the present circumstances to state categorically thatthere is absolutely no truth in these allegations made and perpetuated by uninformed
mischief makers whose only desire is to malign and bring Sir Dr Emeka to disrepute. For the records, Sir Emeka Offor Foundation has been engaged in helping people in need
become independent and self-sufficient. Since the onset of the global pandemic which has laid waste the financial aspirations of individuals, Organisations and Countries, SEOF has made significant and unparalleled interventions in the health and educational sectors of
our economy.

In the last 18 months, SEOF has donated the following:

1. 14 units of 40 feet container-load of Medical Equipment and Supplies to Tertiary
   Medical Institutions in Nigeria.
2. Medicine and Medicament to over Forty (40) hospitals and Medical Centres in
   Nigeria.
3. Built and commissioned Sir (Dr.) Emeka Offor Rotary Hall in the Rotary International
   District 9125 Centre Abuja, shortly after making commendable interventions that
   led to the WHO Certification of Nigeria and indeed Africa as free from Wild Polio
   Virus.
4. Distributed books, computers, educational equipment/materials and accessories to
   over 80 universities, 22 Polytechnics, 37 Colleges of Education, 180 Primary &
   Secondary Schools and 7 Public Libraries across the 6 Geopolitical Zones of Nigeria
   and the Federal Capital Territory.
5. Continuous support to the widows Cooperative Group in Anambra State.
   The foregoing represents the issues that are very important to Sir Dr Emeka Offor. It is on
   these matters and his Business that he continues to focus his full attention.

As today marks the grand finale of the ongoing federal government Besic Business Training for the beneficiaries of Extended Special Public Works which targeted 774,000. Jobs in Nigeria amongst citizens of all ages, graduates, non-graduates, skilled and unskilled.

The event which climax in Ebonyi South senatorial district, at Afikpo North LGA Head quarters, there was a cheerful jubilation From the teeming beneficiaries as Chief Arc. Dr. Edward Nwegu announces continuity of the laudable program as annual event.

It is important to note that this multi million Empowerment   programme was attracted to Ebonyi by Arc. Nkwegu who also represented the federal Minister of State for Labour and Employment during the programme, he has announced the Minister’s approval to extend the special public works into annual program and commenced the training of beneficiaries on specialized skill acquisition as well as financial management in Ebonyi.

Nkwegu gratitude to the Hon. Minister of State for Labour and Employment and chairman NDE Board, Festus Keyamo (SAN) for initiating wonderful people oriented program in the country.

The Minister of State  for Labour and Employment, Festus Keyamo, SAN, who was represented by the Chairman of Ebonyi State selection committee, Architect Edward Nkwegu, EDON, disclosed this on Wednesday 14th July 2021 at a Flagg off workshop training organized by the National Directorate Of Employment, NDE, which was held at the Afikpo North local government council Secretariat in Afikpo.

Recall Arch. Nkwegu, who initiated other life-touching, programmes from the federal government, which includes: Npower, Trader Moni, Anchor Borrowers Fund etc.

Commended the Buhari led government for always granting his request to bring home life-changing  programmes such as this towards mass empowerment and employment of both graduate and none, skilled and unskilled members of the society, he also described the scheme as one of the best program of the federal government, having engaged  the weak and vulnerable persons in the society. He noted that the current set of beneficiaries are going to be retained as the federal government has approved the program to become an annual event.

However, he said  that over thirteen thousand volunteers across the thirteen local government  areas in the State have since  been enrolled into the scheme and said the essence of the training is to equipt them with the requisite knowledge to handle thier finances and increase their productivity. 
“The Basic Business Training (BBT) for none graduate and Start Your Own Business (SYOB) for graduates are all efforts towards giving people a second chance at money and sustainable lifestyle”, he said

Ho. Princess Patricia, Vice Chairman Afikpo North local government area who represented the chairman Oby Oko Enyim, commended the federal government for extending the programme to become an annual event she  added that the selection process was transparent and in  accordance to the directive of the Ministry of labour and praised Arc. Nkwegu, (EDON) for not playing politics with the scheme.

Chief Mark Okoro appreciated Arc. Edward Nkwegu, and Umahi’s led government, he said that this the first time this is happening since independent, for government to allow the poor whom the programme was meant for to truly benefit and passed a vote of confidence on Arc. Nkwegu who he said will lead the State into more progressives opportunities if given the chance come 2023.

The General Overseer of the Evangelical Outreach Ministries International, Prophet Isa El Buba, who is also the Pioneer of Intitiave For A Better And Brighter Nigeria, IBBN, has  called for a New Nigeria, free of corruption, he said  that the movement is determined to ensure no ungodly person is allowed to access the Leadership of the country in 2023.

El Buba, who led a 3 hour none denominational marathon prayers, organized by the IBBN and hosted by the Redeemed Christian Church Of God, RCCG, Faith Terbernacle Parish, stated Wednesday in Abakaliki the Ebonyi State Capital.

“This is the first time in the history of the church, where the church are all saying the same thing, by 2023, no ungodly man will Access the Aso Villa”. He said.

The clergyman, also noted the state of the economy and insecurity of the Country and attributed it to bad Leadership, misappropriation of priorities and called on well meaning Christians in Nigeria to rise up to the challenge and pray towards installing quality Leaders who will be accountable to the people.

“The war has began, but first we must maintain the prayer force, that’s why in some of the states we have gone to, members of the house of Assembly, the Judiciary, the Executives, Business men and women, General overseers of their churches and Ministries are seeking the face of the Lord through genuine leadership”.

He called on prayer volunteers in the State, up to four hundred and ninety people that will give themselves to prayers to ensure the success of the mission to a  new Nigeria, and urged Christians to contribute financially towards achieving the goal.

“By the Grace of God, we are taking over every ward and pooling unit come 2023, the intercessors will be planted in all the pooling units, so there’s no space for the devil to reing,

” We must contibute to make things happen, the wicked contribute amongst themselves to oppress the innocent, the righteous and the innocent must also contribute amongst themselves to deal with the wicked”.

Also speaking, Rev Dr Chun Panchu, the National Executive Director Of IBBN, said the initiative is a Nationwide movement for Nigerians who are tired with the wickedness of bad leadership.

“The movement is mainly for a change, we want God fearing people that we can trust with our votes to rule us, because of the happenings in Nigeria,

“We have gone to nineteen States and we have more States to go, we’ll continue till we go round the entire States in Nigeria, We want to register 20 million persons, and that will give us presidency comes 2023”. He explained.

He however lamented over the inability of the current administration to deliver it’s numerous campaign promises to the people, and recalled how the President Buhari led government, promised to strengthen the economy and tackle insecurity in the country which they have not been able to achieve.

He called on well meaning Nigerians to support the movement, irrespective of thier religion and beliefs, for a better and a peaceful Nigeria.

Major General Hassan Ahmed, former Provost Marshal of the Nigerian Army, has been assassinated in Abuja.

He was murdered Thursday night in the Abaji area of the nation’s capital. The assailants kidnapped his sister, Safina Ahmed (initially mistaken for the wife).

A source close to the family told our newsmen that the siblings were coming from Okene when they were attacked.

“They opened fire on his vehicle, and was shot dead. The driver pretended to be dead from the wound he sustained, so they took the sister away”, the informant said.

Our newsmen further gathered that General Ahmed was exposed at the incident as he didn’t move with escort.

The deceased was chauffeured by his driver, Sergeant Bukar in a Toyota Hilux with a private plate number.

The body of Ahmed has been conveyed to the Nigerian Army Officers Wives Association (NAOWA) Hospital in Abuja.

The Chief of Army Staff, Faruk Yahaya recently appointed him as a Director at the Army Headquarters in Abuja.

Director of Army Public Relations, Brigadier General Onyema Nwachukwu could not be reached as at press time.

The immediate-past deputy governor of Kaduna State, Bala Bantex is dead.

He was aged 64. Bantex served as deputy governor to Governor Nasir El-Rufai between 2015 and 2019 when he resigned to aspire for Senate.

Born in 1956, Yusuf Barnabas Bala a.k.a Bantex was an architect and astute Nigerian politician.

He was a former state chairman of the ruling political party APC in Kaduna.

As we bury T.B Joshua today, we must not bury some of the Christ-like virtues that made him outstanding.

I kept thinking throughout the night – was this how Jesus came, performed miracles, fed the poor, healed the sick and did other good works, but the people despised, hated and killed him? I am not equating any man to Jesus, but T.B Joshua demonstrated more Christ-like virtues than many “God’s Chief Registrars,Chiefs of Staff to Jesus,Assistant God, Deputy God” parading our pulpits today as “masters of the universe”.

They told us how ‘evil’ he was, but were silent on his matrimonial success. He had just one wife and they were married for 31 years… This is Christ-like.

They told us how ‘evil’ he was, but were silent when he fed the poor, built hospitals and schools, responded to humanitarian needs on our streets… This is Christ-like.

They told us how ‘evil’ he was, but kept mute on his humility to board the same coastal bus with his team to go for outreaches. This is Christ-like because even Jesus Christ boarded the same boat with his disciples.

They told us how ‘evil’ he was but kept silent when he brought peace to South Sudan.He was a peacemaker. “Blessed are the Peacemakers…”. This is Chris-like.

Not until his death did I know his wife and even children because he never projected his family. His life and preachings projected Christ more than anything else.

He was Christ-like more than many of his critics whose followers know the “Man of God” than they know the God of men. Whose followers know their ‘father in the Lord’ than they know Christ.

People of the World, please show me one T.B Joshua’s enemy. The same people calling him fake have fellow brethren they call enemies. The same people calling him false prophet have fellow ‘genuine’ pastors that they are not in talking terms with. The same people calling him ‘evil’ have fellow Christians they wish death upon… Between these people and T.B Joshua, who is more like Christ?

If Prophet T.B Joshua was ‘evil’ and he healed the sick in the name of Jesus, fed the poor, built hospitals, schools and houses for the needy, brought peace to nations of the earth, then I like his kind of ‘evil.’

Ifeanyi Ejiofor, the lawyer to the detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, has said his client would soon be released.

He said the allegations against him were not strong enough to convict him, urging his supporters to be patient and prayerful.

“We’re in high spirit that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu will soon come out of detention sooner than expected, and better too.

“It’s one thing for allegations to be made, it’s another thing to establish it. But I don’t think there’s anything strong enough to convict him,” he said.

Ejiofor said there was a great improvement in Kanu’s health condition despite an alleged inhuman treatment he was subjected to while in Kenya.

“There’s no cause for worry. His health is improving. Only that he has not been allowed access to his family, particularly his wife and children, which I see as another level of mental torture.

“But we’re doing all we can to ensure he’s transferred to appropriate custodian pending when his trial commences. We’re also making efforts to get medical experts to ensure his health gets stable,” the lawyer said.

Ejiofor, who spoke during a Facebook live update by IPOB Rapture Media, claimed his life was under threat for defending Kanu, saying he would continue to do his job.

“There’s no amount of intimidation or threats that can stop me from defending Nnamdi Kanu. I advise those after me to have a rethink because nobody can kill me.

“I’m a man of destiny and on a divine assignment. God has appointed me to be Kanu and IPOB’s lawyer. I’ll stand by him till victory is guaranteed. All we need from Biafrans is prayers and patience. Pray for him, and for us his lawyers too,” he said.

On the expectations ahead of the July 26 court hearing, the IPOB lawyer said: “Nothing extraordinary will happen that day. That I can assure you. We’ll be there as usual to entertain applications. If there’s any amendment, we’ll take it up from there.

“What we have is still the three-count charge. We also have an application overdue for hearing on the invasion of his house where 28 persons were killed.

“We have all the pictorial evidence. We’ll tender them before the court so the court will look at them to ensure justice.”
