“Restoring Igbo Identity, Language, and Heritage”
A Community-Driven Initiative for Igbo Renaissance
The United Igbo Elders Council (UNIEC) Worldwide has officially launched the UNIEC Worldwide Support Trust Fund — a people-focused financial platform designed to promote and sustain cultural, educational, social, and developmental initiatives across Igbo communities globally.
The Fund aims to mobilize resources to support education, youth empowerment, cultural preservation, healthcare, and emergency relief efforts across Ala-Igbo and the Igbo diaspora.
> “This is about collective responsibility, shared heritage, and empowering future generations.”
Transparency and Accountability
UNIEC Worldwide places a high premium on transparency and accountability. All donations and contributions will be received strictly through verified official channels and representatives.
“Every kobo will be accounted for — this is a trust fund by the people, for the people.”
About UNIEC Worldwide
The United Igbo Elders Council (UNIEC) Worldwide is a progressive socio-cultural institution and the foremost umbrella body of elder statesmen of Igbo heritage.
UNIEC is:
A voluntary, non-sectarian, non-partisan, and non-profit organization
Dedicated to preserving Igbo identity, language, values, and cultural heritage
A key advocate of the “Igbo Think-Home” investment and development agenda, aimed at fortifying Ala-Igbo’s socio-economic foundations
The Council actively collaborates with traditional institutions, leadership organizations, and Igbo communities worldwide, playing a pivotal advisory role in guiding the younger generation through wisdom, experience, and visionary leadership.
Honoring the Pioneer Leader
UNIEC Worldwide pays glowing tribute to its Pioneer President General,
His Lordship, Hon. Justice Anthony I. Iguh, CON, Emeritus Justice of the Supreme Court of Nigeria (2019–2024),
whose unwavering integrity and leadership continue to inspire the Council’s mission.
A Call to Action
UNIEC Worldwide invites all well-meaning Igbo sons and daughters — at home and in the diaspora — to rally behind this noble cause.
